Meet Your Instructors

Dan DeCloss

Dan DeCloss is the Founder and CTO of PlexTrac and has over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity. Dan started his career in the Department of Defense and then moved on to the private sector where he worked for various companies including Telos, Veracode, Mayo Clinic, and Anthem. Dan’s background is in application security and penetration testing. Dan has a master’s degree in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School with an emphasis in Information Security. Additionally, Dan holds the OSCP and CISSP certifications. Dan has a passion for helping everyone understand cybersecurity at a practical level, ensuring that focus is on the right work to reduce risk.

Jordan Treasure

Jordan Treasure is the Sr. Manager of Professional Services and Support at PlexTrac and a veteran Cyber Security Operator with 14 years in the Idaho Air National Guard. He brings deep expertise in cyber operations, risk management, and security frameworks like NIST, CIS, and MITRE ATT&CK. With a background in leading high-impact teams nationwide, Jordan excels in vulnerability management, scripting, and infrastructure hardening across Windows and Linux environments.

Phillip Wylie

Phillip Wylie is a distinguished cybersecurity professional with over 27 years of IT and cybersecurity experience, including 21 years focused on information security. Specializing in offensive security with over a decade of hands-on experience, Phillip has extensive expertise in pentesting, red team operations, and social engineering engagements, working as a consultant and in-house pentester for enterprise organizations.
 
As a passionate educator, Phillip served as an Adjunct Instructor at Dallas College for over 3.5 years and developed curricula for INE and P3F. He is the concept creator and co-author of The Pentester BluePrint: Starting a Career as an Ethical Hacker and was featured in Tribe of Hackers: Red Team. Phillip hosts two prominent cybersecurity podcasts: The Phillip Wylie Show and Simply Offensive.

David Rushton

David Rushton is a distinguished professional with a rich background in education, which he has seamlessly combined with his passion for cybersecurity. With over five years of dedicated experience in proactive cybersecurity, David has honed his expertise in attack surface management, vulnerability intelligence, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and penetration testing. Currently thriving as a sales engineer, he is committed to solving customer issues by leveraging his in-depth knowledge and experience. He is adept at identifying the current state of cybersecurity affairs, pinpointing issues, and devising strategic measures to mature proactive security programs. His wealth of experience encompasses consulting roles in both the public sector and private industry, where he has consistently demonstrated his ability to navigate complex cybersecurity landscapes and deliver results that exceed expectations.
