ANTI SLAVERY & HUMAN TRAFFICKING POLICY

INTRODUCTION

 

PlexTrac, Inc. (“PlexTrac,” and “Company”) is committed to a workplace and operational environment – regardless of location – that is free from human trafficking and slavery. PlexTrac has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking and the Company will not tolerate or condone the same in any part of our global organization. This policy sets forth PlexTrac’s expectations and commitments to upholding these standards.

 

Company employees, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, partners and others through whom the Company conducts business must avoid all complicity in any practice that constitutes trafficking in persons or slavery.

 

SCOPE

 

This policy applies to all personnel employed by or engaged to provide services to Company, including, but not limited to, employees, officers, temporary employees of Company (including U.S. and international independent contractors) (for ease of reference throughout this policy, each an “employee(s)”), as well as all suppliers, vendors and other contractors (herein, “Suppliers”).

 

POLICY STATEMENT

 

Modern slavery is a crime and violation of fundamental human rights that takes various forms, such as slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labor, unlawful child labor, and human trafficking, all of which have in common the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another in order to exploit the victim for personal or commercial gain. PlexTrac is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all its business dealings and relationships, and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking do not take place anywhere in its own business or that of any contractors or Suppliers.

 

PROCEDURES

 

Every Employee and Supplier is responsible for reading, understanding, and complying with this policy. Company managers are responsible for ensuring that Employees who report to them, directly or indirectly, comply with this policy.

 

Additionally, PlexTrac’s commitment to addressing the issue of modern slavery in our business and supply chains must be communicated to all suppliers, contractors, and business partners at the outset of any business relationship with them and reinforced as appropriate thereafter.

 

REPORTING

 

Employees and Suppliers are required to report any conduct that they reasonably believe to be a violation of this policy to PlexTrac Legal or Human Resources. Employees who fail to report actual or suspected misconduct may be deemed in violation of this policy.

 

BREACHES OF THIS POLICY AND DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS

 

The Company will not tolerate retaliation against an employee for reporting a concern in good faith or for cooperating with a compliance investigation, even when no evidence is found to substantiate the report.

 

Any violation of this policy may be grounds for disciplinary action, up to and including termination. PlexTrac may terminate its relationship with any Supplier it believes is in violation of this Policy. Company has the exclusive right to interpret this policy regarding their respective employees.

 

Violation of the U.S. Government’s policy against human trafficking may also result in criminal prosecution of responsible individuals.
