Authored by: PlexTrac Author Posted on: April 23, 2024 Introducing Plex AI: Your Sidekick for Even Faster Pentest Reporting PlexTrac already cuts pentest reporting time by 50 percent, but we’re about to bring you even more speed with the introduction of Plex AI – the first of several new AI capabilities we will be launching in the near future. Plex AI is truly a groundbreaking announcement, as we are officially the first and only pentest reporting and management platform to offer AI capabilities. With Plex AI, you can tap into our advanced artificial intelligence to speed your report writing. This is just the tip of the iceberg. We have been working on several additional AI algorithms to bring automation to multiple areas of the offensive security lifecycle. In the near future, you will be able to leverage our AI capabilities to gain even deeper insights into your findings and risk posture, enabling faster time to remediation and – ultimately – reduced risk. How does Plex AI work? Let’s dive a little deeper into our initial AI offering, Plex AI. Picture this: you uncover several findings related to CVEs. Instead of manually typing up descriptions or recommendations you click “use AI,” and you have the writeups in seconds. You tweak them as you see fit, then “bam!” you’re done. Pretty great, right? PlexAI also supports existing findings. Even if you’ve already provided writeups, you can select “use AI” to enhance the content. Once you are ready for the executive summary, you call on Plex AI yet again. Plex AI can analyze large data sets to create a holistic executive summary based on your findings, meaning you can deliver a wide range of proactive security reports at scale and have Plex AI do the analysis for you, effectively making AI a member of your pentest team. If the executive summary isn’t exactly what you want, hit the “regenerate” button until you’re fully satisfied. This alleviates much of the manual lift and from there, you can automatically insert it into your report – no copying and pasting needed. At PlexTrac, security is always a top concern. All interactions among system components, including AI, are secured through encrypted channels utilizing TLS 1.2 – ensuring your data is safe. We also conducted multiple rounds of tests to check for AI-related vulnerabilities, which all came back clear. For additional information on security protocols, check out our one-pager. When is Plex AI available? Plex AI is right around the corner. In just thirty days, you’ll be able to get your hands on this game-changing technology. PlexTrac users with the Premium package will be able to opt into Plex AI at no additional cost. Every year, organizations invest in pentests to identify real-world attack paths, validate defenses, and uncover high-impact vulnerabilities. Yet too often, those insights end up trapped in PDF reports, disconnected from the tools and processes that... READ ARTICLE
