With this latest release of PlexTrac, we’re really excited about the opportunities that you now have to enhance your QA workflow around reports.

We’ve added the ability to have icons for all of your reports and findings related to any outstanding items that are left for review while you’re doing your QA process on that report.

So, you’ll see here in the list of reports under this department or client, we have reports that have review items and you can sort by this column and basically what these icons mean is that you have unresolved comments within the report as well as unresolved suggestions or track changes within the report.

So, if we were to click on our annual pentest down here and see the unresolved comments within the reporting tabs, you now have visual indicators as to where you might have unresolved comments and suggestions. As you can see here, we have some left still to resolve in the findings as well as the narrative sections. So, if we come into the report, we can sort by this and we can say, okay, I need to go ahead and resolve some of these suggestions within this report. I can come in here, I can resolve those comments and suggestions and look for anything else. As we continue to resolve these once this is saved and we come back to the report you’ll see that those items are now gone and since this is sorted that way this is no longer in our sorted list. So that is how you resolve comments and suggestions and have this visual indicator within the findings. The same is also true for your narrative sections. This little visual indicator here indicates that you have unresolved comments and suggestions and you can come into those and you’re able to now resolve those as well. And so this really enhances our capability around workflow automation and our QA workflow, Workflow Automation and keeping you focused on the right things.
