PlexTrac Appoints David Cote as New Chief Revenue Officer

Cybersecurity veteran will accelerate customer and revenue growth

BOISE, IDAHO — Feb. 14, 2022 — PlexTrac, the cybersecurity software company on a mission to empower teams to win the right cybersecurity battles, today announced that it has hired David Cote as its chief revenue officer to help fuel the company’s already explosive growth. Cote joins the leadership team in this new role on the heels of the company’s $70M Series B funding round announced on February 2, 2022.

Cote comes to PlexTrac with 30 years of experience as a senior executive with a proven background in executive management, sales management, direct and channel sales, and operations. He was most recently the VP of global sales for Whitehat Security, which was acquired by NTT Security Corporation in July 2019.

Prior to WhiteHat, Cote held various senior leadership positions, including president at Versatile Communications, vice president of sales at GreenPages Technology Solutions, president /CEO and co-founder at AppsOnTap LLC, president/CEO at Turbotek Computer Corp, and VP of sales and founder at Lifecycle Business Partners.  He began his career with Amherst Technologies, and as national vice president of sales & operations, he spent 10 years helping the company grow from $5M to $380M in annual revenue.
